COVID-19 Safety Plan
Purpose: To educate our employees and to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) hazards. Where hazards cannot be eliminated, substituted, engineered out, or controlled administratively, all Best Line Equipment employees will use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for proper mitigation of hazard exposure. All following practices will be implemented and strictly followed in the timeframe of a declared pandemic or outbreak of the COVID-19 respiratory virus. The following procedures are to be met at a minimum by all employees at all Best Line Equipment locations. In the event a Best Line Equipment employee is visiting a customer site and the customer requirements are more stringent, the Best Line Equipment employee will adhere to the customer requirements during their time on site
Scope: The following procedures are to be strictly followed, based on the guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to preserve the health and safety of employees and customers, and to ensure Best Line Equipment locations have the ability to remain open to provide services to life sustaining businesses.
CUSTOMER SAFETY

Customers who visit Best Line Equipment Dealerships
- Any and all information that can be collected over a telephone is encouraged. This will decrease the amount of face-to-face interaction that is spent when performing all business in store.
- Best Line Equipment will offer curb side assistance for customers who prefer not to enter the store to conduct their business.
- Best Line Equipment will communicate with customers what precautions we are practicing mitigating possible exposure. This communication will be conveyed with signage as well as at customer request.
- Indicators such as cones, floor markings, signage, etc., will be strategically placed in customer areas of the facility to identify safe areas to stand while practicing social distancing.
- All Best Line Equipment employees will practice the following COVID-19 mitigation efforts; - Best Line Equipment employees will wear a mask at all times while working at Best Line Equipment facilities.
- Best Line Equipment employees will maintain the 6'foot social distancing recommendations at all times.
- Best Line Equipment employees who contact customer equipment during services will disinfect equipment as the final step of services. The disinfecting of the machine will be documented on the associated paperwork for services provided.

Best Line Equipment Employees who visit Customer Sites
- All Best Line Equipment employees who visit customer sites will practice the following COVID-19 mitigation efforts;
- Best Line Equipment employees will wear a mask at all times while on customer's location.
- Best Line Equipment employees will maintain the 6 foot social distancing recommendations at all times.
- Best Line Equipment employees who contact customer equipment during on-site services will disinfect equipment as the final step of services. The disinfecting of the machine will be documented on the associated paperwork for services provided.
- In the event that a customer's requirements are more stringent than those of Best Line Equipment, the Best Line Equipment employee will practice the requirements of the customer. If a customer's location has lesser requirements, Best Line Equipment will exceed customer requirements by maintaining Best Line Equipment practices.
- At a minimum, guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and mandates from the PA Health Secretary will be followed at all times by Best Line Equipment employee's on customer locations.
- If a customer requests to see Best Line Equipments COVID-19 Safety Plan, the Best Line Equipment employee will allow the customer to review our plan in its entirety.
EMPLOYEE SAFETY

Work Zones
- Facilities will be divided up by work zones. Employees who are assigned to the individual zones will stay within their zones to avoid interaction and possible cross contamination of the virus into other zones.
Social Distancing
- Employees will adhere to social distancing guidelines, (6 feet apart) as much as possible while remaining in their work zones.
- Indicators such as cones, floor markings, signage, etc., will be strategically placed in customer areas of the facility to identify safe areas to stand while practicing social distancing.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Employees will be required to wear cloth masks at all times inside Best Line Equipment facilities. The only times masks are not required for employees are as follows;
- In an office by themselves.
- In a vehicle driving alone.
- Outdoors at Best Line Equipment facilities if the employee is working alone.
Disinfecting Touch Points and Commonly Used Surfaces & Hygiene
- Disinfecting of touch points and commonly used surfaces will be performed and documented by employees within their assigned work zones.
- Disinfecting of touch points and common surfaces at Best Line Equipment locations is to be performed at a minimum of two times per day.
- Employees are encouraged to wash their hands often throughout the day. Disinfecting is to occur on touch points and common surfaces after every occurrence with customers.
Temperature Screenings
- Infrared thermometers will be supplied by Best Line Equipment to each location to perform temperature scans. Employee temperature scans will be voluntary prior to positive detection of COVID-19 at a given facility. Following a positive detection, employees are required by law to be scanned and their temperature documented.
- If an employee has a fever of greater than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, the employee will be asked to return home and quarantine for the recommended 14 days or until other conditions are met. (See “COVID-19 Positive Case Response” for other conditions).

Equipment Care
- All equipment will be required to be disinfected both before being categorized as rent ready or after any contact was made on a customer site during servicing operation, etc. This disinfecting step must be documented on the associated paperwork.
Communications
- Best Line Equipment will utilize video conferences and telecommunications as the primary means for communication throughout our facilities. For meetings that must be held in person, it can only be done when the room is large enough to accommodate social distancing guideline and when face masks are worn.
- Gathering areas (lunch rooms, conference rooms, etc.) will only be used if necessary. Employees are not permitted to congregate for lunch, meetings, etc. if social distancing recommendations cannot be practiced.
COVID-19 Positive Case Response
- If an employee at any Best Line Equipment location tests positive for COVID-19 the following response measures will take place;
- All employees in the associated work zone will be sent home to quarantine for the recommended 14 days or until all of the 3 other conditions are met: - The employee is feeling better.
- The employee has not had a fever in at least 72 hours without fever-reducing medication
- The employee provides a Doctor's note stating that they can return to work. The work zone will be closed down and all essential operations of that work zone will be moved to another area.
- The work zone will be decontaminated with a medical grade disinfectant and remain closed for a minimum of 24 hours to no more than 72 hours. After the work zone has been effectively disinfected, employees may use that work zone when they have met the requirements to be able to return to work.
Recordkeeping (Policy must be updated if CDC or PA Health Secretary guidelines and mandates change)
- All COVID-19 training must be documented and kept on file.
- All Best Line Equipment employees who visit customer sites must have proof of completed training.
- Temperature scans
- All temperature scans for employees must be documented for 2 weeks following a positive COVID-19 case at that specific location.
- Work related positive COVID-19 cases must be recorded.
